Countryside Church

Savage, Maryland

Turner Troxell added a second floor to the one-story building, and reformed and wrapped the exterior to match the adjacent historic chapel.

During renovation, Countryside was able to continue its programs while we took the necessary safety precautions to prevent any hazards to visitors and parishioners. The added space included additional bathrooms, classrooms, offices, kitchen and banquet area, and a large gym/multipurpose room.

Dear Doug,

Thank you again for the wonderful work your team provided during our renovation and multipurpose room addition. As you know, this project was a significant step in our history, and with very little past construction experience the prospect of spending several hundred thousand dollars was daunting. We could not afford to make a mistake in the selection of a general contractor. We certainly didn't.

Your customer service was above and beyond all others and you took a genuine interest in our project, visiting the site numerous times during the bidding process and actively looking for ways to improve the design while reducing our cost.

The construction period itself went very well. Our Turner Troxell construction team stayed focused on the job and made sure that all work was done correctly while maintaining a safe, well-ordered jobsite so that we could continue using the property during construction. While any major project will have unforeseen difficulties your team handled ours openly, professionally and in a timely manner. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. Looking back, the whole construction process went better than ever expected.
