Marden Residence

Baltimore, Maryland

The Marden family has always done more than just "live" in their home; they are often host to a variety of youth groups and clubs as well.

After working together to define style and goals, Turner Troxell seamlessly matched the Mardens' existing home interior with the new addition–achieving a transformation that exceeded the family's expectations, and created more "fun" space for entertaining.

Dear Doug,

Thanks to you, our experience with a major construction job on our home was uniquely positive. From beginning to end, your commitment to excellence and our satisfaction remained your focus.

When we first sat down to discuss the design and plan for our project you assured us that your goal was for us to be happy with the end product. You were also realistic in alerting us to the fact that no construction project goes off without a hitch, and ours would not be the exception. But when those glitches occurred, you were quick to plot out a resolution and implement it. We were very particular customers with an attention to detail and Turner Troxell Company met that challenge with grace, never making us feel that we were being too finicky or unreasonable. We also appreciated the creativity you brought to the design, especially with regard to finding ways to keep our costs down without compromising what we wanted in our addition.

You pushed to have excavation crews working during Christmas week, framing crews working in the snow, and siding crews working in the rain. Some of this speaks to your job management skills, and some speaks to the quality of sub-contractors you choose to hire. Everyone on the job was polite, pleasant, and seemed to take a lot of pride in their work.

The end result speaks for itself. Our addition is gorgeous and looks as if it has always been part of our home. You, Mike and the rest of your team should be extremely proud of this project. We sure are!

Sincerely,
Brian and Colleen Marden
